86-Year-Old Bengals Fan Surprised with Super Bowl Tickets
After Jim's Lipscomb's granddaughter posted a video on social media asking the community for donations so she could send him to the Super Bowl, Jim was surprised with so much more. People from across the state came together with more than 2,000 donations to raise more than $42,000 through a GoFundMe campaign. That's when Caleb Rice jumped in and paid for the Super Bowl tickets himself so that Jim could keep all $42,000 for any other expenses he had.
Gratitude is a funny thing. Being thankful for the big things in our lives is fairly simple. While we may often take them for granted, we recognize them much faster than the little things. And in reality, the things we think of as the little things are usually the major blessings we often overlook.
1995 called and they want their paper back. But guess what? We sent them to voicemail. That's right. We still believe in the magic of readable art that shows up in the form of happy mail every few months. And once you get your hands on a copy of The Giraffe Effect (formerly known as do gooder digest), you will too.
Plus, an iPad doesn't look nearly as cool displayed on the coffee table.
We're all about bringing more GOOD into the world. That's why we're on a mission to spread joy, teach kindness, and help people see how much one small act can create a ripple of GOOD (aka The Giraffe Effect)
When you join the happy list, you'll get a mid-week message filled with positive stories, happy news, and GOOD ideas to make the world a little better. Think of it as a digital mini-magazine, but free.
When I saw how easy it was to copy and paste the sections I was sold. Ollie has everything we needed and more to create a site for our client – we will be repeat users for sure.
